What is Tech Fair?

TechFair is Central Florida’s Hi-Tech Event! TechFair is unique! TechFair is the only event in the country which promotes area businesses and technology while at the same time serving as a community-building, charity event. The real name of TechFair should be the Central Florida Combined Charity, Community, Business, and Computer Fair (CFCCCBCF) but we figured TechFair would be easier to remember!

TechFair is free to the public to attend and is open to all businesses, vendors, employers and organizations. Typical businesses include all businesses which develop, market, sell, service, and/or use technology. Other typical organizations include charities, employers seeking technology employees, computer user groups, special interest clubs, non-profit organizations, schools, trade schools, tech schools, government agencies, employment agencies, publishing companies, media companies, radio stations, tv stations, newspapers, marketing companies, phone companies, internet service providers, etc….

TechFair features several Major National Key Note Speakers such as Microsoft’s Russ Fustino, and over 100 exhibition tables in the Bahia Shrine Auditorium. TechFair simultaneously offers 5 free business and technology presentations and workshops EVERY HOUR. Over a two day period attendees get to chose from over 4 Major Key Note Presentations, and 50 free business and technology presentations and workshops! Not bad for free! Not bad even if you were paying thousands of dollars … which some events charge!

Why TechFair? TechFair exists to benefit our local community and society as a whole.

Who hosts TechFair? The Central Florida Computer Society (CFCS) hosts TechFair. The CFCS is the largest, oldest, and best computer club and user group in Central Florida, and one of the oldest in the entire country. We are celebrating our 25th anniversary. Check out our website at www.cfcs.org.

What is so special about TechFair? Everything!!! No one else is doing an event like this … anywhere! No one has ever done an event like this … ever! What a great way for a family to spend a weekend! What a great way for Charities to market their services and get donations. What a great way for service organizations such as Rotary, Lions, Kiwanis, and Big Brothers Big Sisters to get the word out about all the wonderful things they do and have the opportunity to increase their membership and do even more good! What a great way for businesses to network with other businesses and organizations! What a great way for businesses to find new customers! What a great way for businesses to market their business and do good for the community at the same time! What a great way for attendees to get great computer deals while at the same time getting to learn about the charities in their community! What a great way for students to learn what they need to know and meet perspective employers! What a great way for all concerned to mix and mingle with thousands of like-minded people at one magnificent event … and have tons, and tons of fun!
