From our By-laws
An ad hoc Nominating Committee shall be
established and members appointed thereto by the Board each
year in July to prepare a slate of eligible candidates for
election by the members of the Society at the Annual Membership
Meeting. The committee shall set as its goal the nomination
of at least two eligible candidates for each office to be
filled. The ballot shall provide space for a write?in candidate
for each office. No member of the committee shall be an elected
official who is seeking reelection or intends to become a
candidate for another elected office in the forthcoming election.
