Using Macromedia Authoring
Tools to develop Training and Information Distribution Kevin BrownPresentations

SunTech3

This month’s meeting presentation was by Kevin Brown of SunTech 3, Inc. and was about various types of software for training and education made available by Macromedia. While all of our speakers have been knowledgeable in their areas and produced really excellent talks and demonstrations, Mr. Brown did and excellent job and with a high degree of enthusiasm. It’s clear that he is really impressed with the software available that is being used and also that he understands and is very capable of convincing others.

Macromedia's authorwareBrown’s talk centered on Macromedia’s authorware availabilities and specifically on FlowChartboard and Robohelp. In his talk he explained the use of Flash software and how the newer programs utilize the Flash capability as well as browsers.

His demonstration of learning software development showed the ease with which instructional systems can be developed. The newer software called Robohelp was impressive in its application and capability. Clearly the new software is making development easier and is based on software we already know how to use.
