OZ Rugless Service

Oz RuglessWe are very sorry to report that former CFCS president and annual speaker Oz Rugless passed away Saturday, September 9, 2017.  Oz had been the featured presenter at the August 13 CFCS General Meeting.  (His presentation was recorded and may be heard by clicking on the link https://hewie.net/winsig/windows-sig-meeting-notes-2017/windows-sig-meeting-notes-2017-08-13/

Sadly Oz had just agreed to increase his popular visits to CFCS from one to two times a year.  His comment on the change was ‘He enjoyed doing them even more than we did.’  Oz was only 68. His presence, wit and knowledge will be sorely missed by all.

While the cause of death is unknown he had suffered a brain aneurysm previously.  According to his web site, “On May 12 (2004), I suffered a ruptured aneurysm in my brain, a condition from which more than 70% either die or suffer serious impairment. I survived intricate neurosurgery, spent a couple months in recuperation, then got back to work almost as if nothing had happened.”

His Memorial Service can be found here.  https://vimeo.com/236305105
